Rogue Theatre has arrived in London.
Excited and a bit nervous at the prospect of creating a new show for the Scratch Festival.
Anna Maria Murphy has written some beautiful text for the first part of the story, we have an exciting team including musician Julian Gaskell (Gypsy, Punk, Folk, Cabaret style music) and dancer Emily Dobson (Cscape Dance Company and Kneehigh's Don John).
Angelina (Director) and myself are really enjoying the creative freedom and the exciting potential of the project. We are excited to try out some new ideas, work in a new way with some new people and engage with audiences in a way which shapes the development of work and ideas. Whilst there is a certain healthy pressure on us it is a welcome change to the familiar pressure of a rehearsal process which counts down to the first date of a long national tour.
Looking forward to working at BAC tomorrow.
Please spread the word, Rogue Theatre presents an experimental scratch performance called "The Dancer and The Devil" at BAC on Weds 5 and Thurs 6 May at 8.15pm.
